Our community groups meet throughout the week in member’s homes. Community for us is a chance to practice and live out the gospel practically. We equate our Sunday morning services to an air war and our community groups to a ground war. If we only exist on Sundays and all we do is large group proclamation then we will never make any meaningful advances in our city. The tip of the spear of our ground war is our community groups.
Community groups exist for more than creating friendships and closing the back door to the church. The goal is to create gospel centered communities where Jesus is lifted up, his people are spurned on towards him and reach out to others, and unbelievers are given a tangible way to see Christ exemplified through what is being done in and through these groups.
It is for this reason that we strongly encourage you to get involved in a community group. We currently have one group meeting and we are preparing to have a second group offered as well.
For more information, sign onto the city. If you need an account, see one of our greeters this Sunday and they will be happy to assist you.
