The city has invited us out to be a part of the festivities that are taking place on Friday night from 2:00 – 9:00 PM. We will be passing out candy from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and showing the movie Monsters University from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. This is a great way to meet some new folks and build some new relationship.

We are in need of two crews to help us out on this endeavor. We need one team from 2:00 – 6:00 PM and another team form 5:00 – 9:00 PM. If you are interested in helping please email

Beginning on Saturday November 1st, we will begin holding a monthly prayer meeting for anyone and everyone in the church. The prayer meeting will take place on the first Saturday of the month from 8:00 – 9:00 PM at Bulloch Academy. We will be praying for the needs of the church and that God the Holy Spirit would form us into the people he has called us to be.

This week marks daylight saving time. Be sure to turn your clock back one hour and enjoy some extra sleep. This time of year proves to be a great opportunity to invite other friends to church seeing as they will not be loosing any sleep over the weekend. This is also a really fun day to invite some to City on a Hill as it is Reformation Sunday. For more info on the reformation check  the link below. out

This Sunday we will be looking at how the Holy Spirit engages with the hearts and minds of men enabling them to rightly understand who God is, to bring them to a saving faith in Jesus. It is truly a wondrous and beautiful text, we encourage you to read ahead by checking out 1 Corinthians 2.
