Nearly for the past year City on a Hill has been meeting at the 180 Fitness Center in Statesboro GA. So much has taken place in that short amount of time. We have developed and grown a core group, we have laid a strong theological foundation for the church to be built upon, we have studied and examined Jesus, the hero of the church and world. We have also discussed who we are as a church and what Jesus has called us to be. Now it is time to move in preparation for our Fall Launch.
On June 1st City on a Hill will begin meeting at Bulloch Academy in Statesboro GA. Over the next couple weeks we will be learning how to maximize the usage we can get out of our new venue. For those who have attended City on a Hill for any length of time you will realize some drastic improvements to our environment simply because the rooms we will be meeting in were designed with the sort of functionality that we seek to use.
This is a great time to check out what Jesus is doing at City on a Hill. Beginning on June 8th we will begin a new four week teaching campaign Entitled “Jonah: The Reluctant Missionary”. In this series we will be going through the book of Jonah verse by verse.
